John Couillard introduced Brock Spack, ISU Head Football Coach. Coach Spack shared information about this year's team and the upcoming season.
Currently hosting an average of 5-6 recruits each day
Last year's team averaged a 3.21 GPA

ISU Football program is based on discipline, accountability and toughness. The team starts with the quarterback; you have to be able to score more points than the opponent so the person who delivers the ball is critical. We'll be using a two-quarterback system and look forward to how difficult this will be for opponents. Each of the quarterbacks bring different attributes to the game, which is critical. The running back team is strong. Receivers are consistent across the board. Tight ends are strong as a group; they all play hard and are tough. 4 of the 5 offensive line are power forwards. We're looking forward to this being the best offense we've had since 2014. Most of the defense are returning players. All the specialists are back again this year. It's definitely a fun team to be around.
This year's season opener will be against the University of Iowa on August 31st in Iowa City.

Scott Seibring: Camp Limberlost is rapidly approaching. We'll need volunteers on July 7th starting at 12:15p for camper registration/drop-off (at Parkside Jr. High) and volunteers on July 12th starting at 4pm (at Camp) and then at 5pm (at Parkside Jr. High) for camper load-up and return. Check the website soon for sign-up information. Also, if anyone would like to donate funds to purchase fresh fruit & snacks for the campers, please give those donations to Scott.
Randy Clark: The bench and plaque in memory of Dave Besler is scheduled to be installed near the Marina before camp starts on July 7th.
