Mike Laffey introduced Dave Casey, Director of Ticket Sales for the Bloomington Bison Hockey Team to talk about the team and their upcoming season.
The Bloomington Bison are part of the ECHL Network and are owned by Hallett Sports and Entertainment which also owns the Indy Fuel. Hallett has been around for over 10 years and are familiar with starting a team from the ground up. One of their biggest philosophies is that it's entertainment with a side of hockey so their focus is on creating an engaging experience.
The Bison are led by Head Coach & General Manager Phillip Barski and are affiliated with the New York Rangers.
The Bison will kick off their season with their Opening Night game scheduled for Saturday, October 19th. Currently they have 36 home games scheduled for this season.

Scott Seibring: In an effort to be more involved in community service projects, we'll be volunteering for a 1-hour shift for a Miracle League game on September 15th. Watch for a sign-up to come out soon.
