As noted in previous communications, members may vote electronically or in person. If you prefer to vote electronically (see link below), the electronic voting option will remain available during the meeting. Please vote only once—either electronically or in person.
We’ll also officially vote for and then install our new directors and officers for the coming Kiwanis year. It will be a great opportunity to recognize those stepping into leadership and celebrate the year ahead.
When I chose “Change with a Purpose” as my theme this year, I wanted us to think not just about what we change, but why we change it, and how those changes can strengthen our club for the future.
This year has reminded me that change doesn’t happen because the president has an idea. It happens because members participate - in the conversation, in the work, and in all the ways, big and small, that move a club forward.
I am grateful to the Board and to all of you who have given your time, ideas and energy this year. The presidency is really just holding the baton for a year. You do your best with it, and then you pass it to the next leader.
Today, I am grateful to have carried that baton, and I am excited to see where our next leadership team takes us.
