Cathy Oloffson shared an update from the Campaign & Sponsorship Committee, which is comprised of 13 members working hard to raise funds for camp. As we work towards the goal of sending 60 kids to camp each summer (approximately $60,000), the Committee will be providing weekly updates of progress towards that goal.
Right now, three main events produce funds for Camp: Pancake Days $15,ooo, Flower Sale $15,000 and Mum Sale $5,000=$35,000
In looking at the remaining $25,000, we'll focus on three key areas to raise these funds:
Members & Key Contributors: goal of $10,000
If you know of an organization or business that the committee should approach, please let us know
Event Sponsorships: goal of $10,000
4 sponsorship levels providing sponsors with a variety of benefits throughout the 2025 key events.
We're focusing on asking local businesses (need commitments by 1/15/2025) so if you can help make any of these connections, let Scott Seibring know.
Friends & Family: goal of $5,000
Have identified several members who will take on raising $500/each. Still looking for more; let Cathy know if you're interested.
Donation materials and talking points have been created and a training will be provided on Wednesday, September 25th with Sam Guillory (zoom meeting) to walk thru these efforts and help guide you thru the fundraising 'ask' process.
For additional information or to ask questions, please reach out to a member of the Campaign & Sponsorship Committee.
