Kiwanis Pancake Days

Hope to see you soon ( February 24 & 25, 2018 )

Bloomington Kiwanis Pancake Days has been a tradition since 1951. The club holds this event annually in late February serving pancakes and sausage to over 3,000 people. Pancake Days is held at the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts building (lower level ballroom). This is the location where the club meets on Monday at noon. Pancakes are prepared on special griddles insuring fresh, steaming hot light and fluffy pancakes. Pancakes are served with sausage, coffee or milk.

Pancake Days  includes a "Book Fair" selling children's books though the Scholastic Books organization. All of the money goes to our Community Service Fund which ultimately pays for our many projects, such as Camp Limberlost, On-Track Scholarships and Young Children Priority One which help children though out the world.

Another way to help out

Stevenson Elementary School

Literacy Project

The Kiwanis Club of Bloomington has selected Stevenson Elementary School to benefit from the Scholastic Book Fair, held in conjunction with Pancake Days on February 24th and 25th.

A representative from Stevenson will select books needed to complete a literacy project.

These “selected books” will be available at the book fair for people to purchase.

Also, there will be certificates that can be purchased (any amount) when you buy pancake tickets from members as well as at the Book Fair. These monetary gifts for books will enable the boys and girls to successfully complete and enjoy this literacy project.
